A Gift of Nature, Art of Generosity

After the success of the previous years dinner, Big Bash had won the pitch again with the proposed concept of The Grand Journey.

Inspiration

Creating a one-of-kind and memorable experience for their guests came with its on set of challenges. Big Bash decided to partner with Asia Music City at Quill City Mall as the official venue for the dinner. This allowed us to re-work the area and transform it into a mystical train station set in the Pernod Ricard World

In order to give a different experience to the guests, the flow of the event was changed this year to incorporate serving rituals for for the key brands which brought about unique performances and changed the event from just being a dinner, to a story-telling moment at each dinner course”

A Nostalgic Experience

Guests were taken on a journey of PRMs portfolio of brands first arriving at the train station platform where they were treated to a calligraphy station and vending machine with various gifts. A life-sized train housed the various bars highlighting the key brands. The train “transported” guests to the village of seasons where they were treated to an 8-course pairing dinner with curated serving rituals for GH Mumm, Martell, Chivas and Royal Salute.
With 2018 being a big hit, expectations were set for 2019, which Big Bash manage to hit out of the ballpark. The life-sized train and serving ritual performances set a new benchmark for future PRM dinners and was the talk of industry for months to come.
