The Beginnings

After working with The Edrington group for the prestigous Macallan events, the team was approached to tackle an old whisky with a new face.

Our Audience

The event was to be an introduction of The Glenrothes brand new theming and look to hundreds of trade partners consisting of distributors and bar owners.


Big Bash Media took up the challenge by creating an event that reflected the signature retro neon theme of The Glenrothes brand. Before entering the ballroom we custom fabricated a bottle tunnel that introduced the flavours of the Soleo Collection. Followed by a foyer laiden with activities like buzz wire games, movie boxes, retro tv photo wall, UV Doodle Room and a a lot more to keep the guests engaged.

What Else

The Big Bash team worked tirelessly to transform Copper Mansion to embody the theme fun new character of the brand.

A photo booth with lenticular prints made for some fun animated takeaways.

Inside the Ballroom guests were greeted with a high tech lighting design and ultra wide LED screens filled with custom animated content.

Official Venue for the event was The Copper Mansion an iconic Chinese Hall in the heart of PJ.
The final reviews exceeded expectations as trade partners were all pleasently surprised that an old brand could be transformed into a visual spectacle. The brand had been embeded into the minds of the trade partners leading to stellar 1st quarter sales and consistent reorders for the rest of the year.
